Hi Warblers,
Amongst all the genuine praise for the Concert from my friends a gem . from a professional musician who has been listening to singers all his life.
” who was that man who sang ‘Faraway A Voice Is Calling’ the simple clarity was a joy to listen to, a quiet pool beside the rushing steam”
Although it irked me considerably I had to own it was Len our treasurer.
so take a bow Len you deserve it.

Thanks Teaboy,
I had some feedback. Among my guests at the concert was the mother of a friend, an 85 year old lady who moved here from Wales when she was in her 20s. She said that Sospan Fach and the other Welsh tuines took her straight back to the rickety school bus in rural central Wales where the sang away the travel time. She was quite nostalgic.

I was doing some searching on the web and found some interesting sites:
- sing4wales.com
- The Treorchy Male Voice Choir
- istrianet (for Ai preat la Biele Stele and many more)
- Trelawnyd male voice choir
- Olivia Chaney (U-Tube / for Aupres de ma Blonde)
Sorry not all URL’s attached but easy to Google.
Hope they are of interest

NB-Regarding the note above, istrianet is ‘.org’ and not ‘.com’

Sid, if suitable would you be so kind as to read this out at the Christmas lunch. Thanks in advance…
Rachel, Mavis, Gentlemen – Sadly, I am unable to join you this afternoon in toasting another year of Cantorion as I am singing elsewhere at this moment.
However, I wish you all well and thank you all for your fellowship, kindness and good humour throughout the year. I look forward to enjoying more at our next concert and in the year to come.
Joyeux Noel!!!

Hi Sid,
The new website looks cleaner at first impression. Will there be a members(-only?) link to allow us to contact one-another?
Nice work.
Best Wishes, Chris
PS- I am away until January 30th.
